Recently returning from Rzeszow, Poland, I am excited to share my impressions of the competition’s highlights. What made this competition special was its repertoire focused exclusively on the works of Polish composers from the 19th and 20th centuries - excluding most works of Chopin - the country’s icon of classical music.
